Mykonos is located in the Aegean Sea and specifically in the Cyclades. It has a population of about 10,000 residents and an area of 86 sq.kil. The reference point of the island is its nightlife which is known worldwide and the reason why the island welcomes more than 2,000,000 tourists every year. In 2012 Mykonos welcomed 700 cruise ships and 1260 direct charter flights.

Mykonos is an island that combines everything. Nightlife, beautiful beaches, gastronomy, watersports and of course the 15 minutes of fame many people are seeking… This is the reason that makes Mykonos one of the 20 top destinations of the international jet set

Sight

The island itself is an attraction … The narrow alleys, whitewashed houses, windmills, blue and red domes are trademarks of Mykonos. Beyond this however, there are points that are connected with the history of the island. Some of them are the temple of Paraportiani, the Venetian castle of Gizi, the small church of St. Nicholas of Kadenas dated at 1700 AD, the Neolithic settlement on Ftelia dating back at the 5th millennium BC, the monastery of Panagia Tourliani in Ano Mera with a magnificent carved chancel of the 16th century, the Little Venice and many more.

Beache

The island is full of beautiful beaches with crystal clear water. Visitors will need several days in order to visit them all. Super Paradise beach with fine golden sand and also the meeting point of all the clubbers of the island, Platis Gialos, Psarou beach which is the favorite destination for celebrities, Kalo Livadi which is a very long beach with cyan colored water, Paradise, Paranga, Ornos, Elia’s largest sandy beach. The choices are many.

Entertainment

There is virtually no hour in a day where you will not have an option to have fun … Cavo Paradiso has the lion’s share. A consecutively winning club,a meeting place for the best DJs in the world. Countless bars and clubs in the town of Mykonos for every taste and age. Super Paradise beach where in the afternoon it turns into an immense club, restaurants  and taverns, all the above compose a scene that will make visitors feel that Mykonos is actually a paradise of fun
